Core Missions

Four commitments that have guided us for generations.

Our work is simple in principle and steady in practice: keep children safe, narrow the gaps they face, and help them build a future.

  1. Child Abuse Prevention & Reporting

Acting as a dedicated community safeguard by identifying, receiving, and relaying reports of neglect or abuse to designated child protection services.

  2. Community Uplift

Actively working to lower the socio-economic inequalities faced by underprivileged children across the Bronx.

  3. Educational Opportunity

Providing meaningful pathways and financial backing for young people pursuing higher education.

  4. Direct Essential Support

Meeting emergency basic needs, including seasonal clothing and school supplies, when families need it most.

Programs & Action Areas

Practical help, close to home.

Each program is run by neighbors who know these streets, schools, and families.

  • Child Protective Referrals

A triage and community listening service that directs urgent cases of physical or emotional harm and neglect to official municipal entities, such as the NYC Administration for Children's Services (ACS).

  • College Scholarships

Financial grants for ambitious high school seniors and college students from underserved Bronx neighborhoods.

  • Community Clothing Drives

Collecting and distributing quality clothing and cold-weather gear to children and teens in need.

  • After-School Support

Sponsoring safe study environments, homework help, and mentoring for school-age youth.

Administrative Transparency

Who we are, on the record.

We believe families and neighbors deserve to know exactly who they are working with.

We are a small-scale, volunteer-driven community organization serving local Bronx neighborhoods. We are independent from central citywide agencies and do not investigate cases ourselves — we listen, triage, and connect families with the official services equipped to act.
